About Us
Sarah Hugh is a family business run by Jonathan and Jane Watts. Based in Farringdon, near Exeter in Devon they have planted out four acres of a lavender known to produce the highest quality oil. Their aim is to produce this oil by steam distillation on site for use in their products.
They have taken an impression of a fresh lavender flower straight from the field and used it to emboss their modern design of soap.
The starting up of this business was filmed by BBC`s "Inside Out" programme in 2004 and gave an insight into the effort involved in turning Devonshire soil and sunlight into premium quality lavender oil!!
